Dog Food Drive!

We always love donating to a great cause at Alabama Teachers Credit Union.
Our Albertville branch does a fantastic job of living our core value - "we support our community" each and every day. We appreciate their heart for Marshall County - both people and furry friends!
This month the branch donated 200lbs of dog food to WQSB and Second Chance Animal Shelter - WoofStock!
WQSB and Second Chance Animal Shelter set a goal to collect 10,000 lbs of dog food to beat the Alabama state record for most dog food ever collected. At the ending date of the drive, they collected over 27,000 lbs! According to Second Chance Animal Shelter, that’s about 3 months worth of dog food. The shelter will be using the extra money normally spent on food to build kennels, making room for additional animals at the shelter.
