Officer Tim Pitts Memorial Ride

As those in our Calhoun County communities may know, Officer Tim Pitts passed away in April of 2021. Tim was a BIG part of our ATCU Oxford family. He worked security for our office since it opened in 2012 and helped in any way possible with events or branch activities. He was the ultimate team member, best advocate for our credit union, and definitely a community champion. Tim will be missed by all who knew him.
In honor of Tim Pitts the "Officer Tim Pitts Memorial Ride" was hosted by The Alabama Punishers LEMC Mt. Cheaha Chapter. Benefit T-Shirts were created to help contribute to the family of Officer Pitts. The grand total raised was $2450.00! The family was so overwhelmed with the outreach in the community and in Tim’s memory they donated half of their proceeds to Asher, whom is a young boy that had a special place in Tim’s heart. It is amazing what we can do when we all Learn Together, Grow Together, and Give Together.
